About Nullarbor Net

Nullarbor Net is an independent, non-commercial travel guide to driving across southern Australia on the Eyre Highway — from Kalgoorlie, Esperance and the WA Goldfields, across the Nullarbor Plain, to Ceduna, the Eyre Peninsula and Port Augusta. It has been online for well over two decades and is written and maintained by Peter and a small crew of contributors who have driven, worked and holidayed along the route.

Why we're independent

Nullarbor Net isn't owned by a tourism body, a booking site or any of the businesses it describes. No one pays to be listed, and we don't take commissions on accommodation. The site is kept going by reader donations and by the advertising shown on its pages; ads are provided by Google and are clearly separate from the guide content.

Keeping it accurate

Roadhouses change hands, prices rise and opening hours shift, so treat any rate or timetable on this site as a guide and phone ahead before relying on it. If you've driven the route recently and something has changed, please let us know — corrections from travellers are how the guide stays current.
